SPMG 460 Business of Esports
The course is an introduction to the business of the esports industry, while assessing and analyzing the business model of esports, marketing of tournaments, sponsorship, media partnerships and the current strategies impacting consumers and professional gamers. The students will also be introduced to the entertainment aspects within the esports industry and business trends shaping the gaming field today. Lastly, they will assess the future trends and business strategies that will shape the esports gaming industry.
