MATH 390 Introduction to Mathematical Research

This course, the first in the Honors Program in Mathematics, will introduce students to enrichment topics and develop their research skills. Topics may be drawn from areas such as combinatorics, algebra, analysis, complex analysis, geometry, topology, dynamical systems, graph theory, and game theory. Research skills include finding and reading articles, using LaTeX or other technical formatting tools, and presentation skills. This course is by invitation only.
