EDU 685 Curriculum & Instruction Capstone Portfolio

The primary goal of this course is to enable candidates to develop and complete a Capstone Portfolio that reflects both their learnings in each course of the graduate program as well as their research-based knowledge beyond their coursework. With the support of the faculty instructor, candidates will design a high quality portfolio that includes resources and research connected to each of the seven (7) New York State Teaching Standards that addresses their ability to meet the criteria (Elements) of each Standard. Each candidate will submit electronic versions of their portfolios and present their portfolios orally before a panel of professional educators. Candidates must successfully complete both portions of this requirement (written and oral) to successfully complete the course
