The Bachelor of Science in Education in Childhood Education prepares teacher candidates for certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1 to 6).

  • Grades of "B" or better in EDU 105, EDU 225, EDU 250, EDU 305 and all methods courses (402, 403, 404, 405 and 406) are required for all students entering this major in FALL 2020 or later.  Please note:  that "B -" is not an adequate grade.  
  • Grade of "S" in EDU 106, EDU 251 and EDU 313
  • Successful completion of EDU 416 is required to receive a "Satisfactory" standing in Student Teaching.
