Major Requirements

Applied Mathematics requires the Applied Mathematics Core, a science course and laboratory as noted below, and a declared and completed minor (or major) from the list below.  Upon declaring the major, students are advised to create an Academic Plan with the Department Chair or designated advisor to identify post-graduate goals, an appropriate minor (or major), and any additional recommended coursework.

Students may double major in Applied Mathematics and Mathematics by completing all requirements for both majors.  A course required for one of the majors cannot be used to satisfy an upper-level elective requirement of the other major.
