Chemistry Minor

Requirements for the Minor in Chemistry

A minimum of 24 credit hours in chemistry is required including

Required Courses

CHEM 115	General Chemistry Lecture I	3
CHEM 116	General Chemistry Lecture II	3
CHEM 125	General Chemistry Laboratory I	1
	and
CHEM 126	General Chemistry Laboratory II	1
	or
CHEM 130	Honors General Chemistry Laboratory	1
	and
	16 additional hours at the 200 level or above

Of these additional hours: (1) at least 2 hours must be in laboratory courses; (2) at least 6 hours must be from 300 or 400 level courses; and (3) CHEM 154, CHEM 170, CHEM 300, CHEM 302, CHEM 305, CHEM 371, and CHEM 372 cannot be counted.
