International Health Insurance

Health and accident insurance is required of all State University of New York study abroad program participants. Students who study abroad are automatically enrolled in a policy that is designed especially for students studying abroad and includes overseas urgent and emergency medical care, mental health, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, and medical evacuation and repatriation coverage. The coverage must be in effect for the entire period away from home. Those who do not have such coverage must purchase the insurance provided by SUNY. More information about the SUNY insurance coverage is available at https://www.fredonia.edu/academics/study-abroad/health-safety-abroad.
